I'm posting this pick of my new red hornet.anyone know anything about it.it was the most expensive polyp Ive ever bought and sold for roughly 90 dollars less than the first purple hornet which i believe was 355.I've never been able to locate any info on them or pics?however i like them more than the purples.what ya think.can i name where and who i purchased from IN THIS OR ANY FORUM.THESE ARE NOT MY PICS AS I DONT HAVE THIS PIECE IN MY TANK YET BUT I HAVE PERMISSION FOR THE USE OF THE PHOTO http://reefcentral.com/forums/picture.php?

those are the rules under this section of the forums wich are located at the top of this section.

that is a nice looking polyp but for somebody to pay that much for a single polyp is just plain stupid. most of these polyps are coming straight from the ocean and usualy do not have a high survival rate. this is all just my personal opinion btw...

Very nice! Congrats! The only problem with buying single polyps is they dont tend to grow as fast and can melt fairly easy. Good luck with it, i hope it grows good!

bdimas your pic of buggar is awesome right on!I paid that much because i cant find them anywere but now i hear there is a guy selling them for 225 a polyp plus shipping so i guess if anyone wants one you can get one and as some one said risky and expensive but well worth it and if i could mention the seller and his infinate collection i think people would understand why i felt comfortable buying this piece from this guy.aside from a wild colony popping up i think these will be very rare!I love them regardless i wont pass judgement on whether they are the coolest hornet because i dont need to be harrased till my dying breath.lol viva la france viva la france !!@?#@!

normally you need to worry when you see a pic and the egg crate is blue...hopefully this isn't the case since you don't have it yet.

Nice pickup. If it lives and grows for you then you will not be feeling "stupid" at all, the best paly/zoa I have seen. Enjoy and ignore the haters!

Great looking polyp. The colors are unreal. I wouldn't mind having them in my collection. Hopefully it does well for you so that there will be more in the hobby.

Sweet polyp, Not being a hater, but just buyer beware about some of these high dollar single polyps. Just as said above, most come direct from the ocean and don't have as high of a survival rate as many others.. High five if you pick it up, and hope it grows for ya.. Where did you get it?
