My new reef build. Asking for advice.

I have several years of experience in (small) reef tanks. Now i want to go bigger.

I asked a lot of questions so far and narrowed down my choices but everything is still open for discussion. Please read my thoughts and comment.

What i want to keep?
I want to keep soft corals, LPS and easier SPS. Snails, schrimps, (not demanding) fish.

Size of a tank?
300 to 400l (80 do 90 gallons).

Special wishes?
I want a silent tank and equipment that gives me very good chance to succeed.

Which tank?
I've narrowed my tank choice to Red Sea Reefer 425XL (120 x 57,5 x 55cm) WITHOUT lights. Or Aqua Medic Xenia 130 (130 x 65 x 55cm) WITHOUT lights.
I'm having problems to decide between them. Reefer is smaller but i heard it has better solutions. Aqua Medic looks great with it's size but 130cm long gives me 5 cm on each side that won't be covered with light and i'm not sure if i'll be able to cover 65cm width tank also (see light choice in the next paragraph).
Can you help me decide between them?

Light?
LEDs are everywhere. I decided to go with trusted, powerfull T5. Giesemann Matrixx II 6x54W. Good enough? I don't want millions of options in LED light and guess what will work and later add more LED lights, because of lack of power.
T5 are 120cm long, so that gives me full coverage of Reefer, but 10cm less in Aqua Medic. Aqua Medic is also 8cm wider then Red Sea. Problem?

Other equipment
I want a silent tank. So DC version of Tunze systems should be ok.

Tunze 1073.05 (DC) main return pump
Tunze 6055 DC aquarium pump
Tunze 9410.001 skimmer
Heater
Electronics for automatic adding of RO water. If i understand correctly, both Red Sea and Aqua Medic already have a RO water tank, pipes, etc. I probably need to buy a pump with sensor to build this. Can anyone confirm what do i need? I will use it for adding Calcium to the system also. Everything else will be added by me every week.

sounds like a good plan to me..

Do not worry about the T5 not covering full length..
I'm actually using a 24" ATI on a 48" L tank with the light about 10" off the surface of the water.. The edges are somewhat dimmer for sure but it gives me places to put less light demanding corals.. It doesn't look bad at all..

I don't believe aquamedic tanks are popular in the US.. not even sure if or for how long they are available here..

i cant compare tanks. I have a red sea 525 and I am very happy with it. The only thing I didnt like is the ATO. I ditched that for a bigger external tank + tunze.
