My new Reidi's

They are so pretty. Abbie was a great help.

They are eating frozen mysis. Yes they are captive bred.

very pretty!! I'll be getting my erectus from them on Thursday. I may have to set up a reidi tank in the future I already have 28 seahorses.....all erectus.

No, they are out of stock. I was on a waiting list. I've been on a waiting list for about 2 years since I wanted sexed pairs that were unrelated. I was willing to wait untill they had what I was looking for.

It hadn't occurred to me that you have to go out of your way to get a male and a female that aren't siblings...

By "unrelated" did you mean "not siblings" or "not second cousins"?

I wanted them totally unrelated. I breed them and raise they fry to sell to others. I sell both to customers and Higher end pets stores that are familiar with the care of seahorses. I do not sell to pet stores that do make sure their customers know how to properly care for them. I have been breeding them and raising them for a few years now.

That sounds like the best strategy for a healthy line.
