I have been on this site for a number of years ,I do not have many posts because I generally read and learn so i would like to thank every one for making this project possible.I Started planing this project around Christmas 2010 ,I suppose the most frustrating part is waiting for equipment to be delivered .I am into the project now and it has taken aprox 12 months to get this far .The tank is a 60x30" wide x24" high rimless opti white three sides and made out of 19 mm glass with an external weir .The tank will be sat on a metal stand and finished inside and out .The tank will have no live rock inside the tank ,it will be all reef bones and rock .The tank will be run with out a skimmer and will be mainly SPS AND LPS .My lights for this project will be a PM 10 X80W Circulation will be with four vortech mp40 ,my return pump will be a ehime 5000 .my sump will be 20 kg of live rock ,40lbs of MM in center chamber with cheato ,light over this will be an enviro light 6400 125 w.Now all I have to do is bring it all together .First the room is stripped decorated ,and a porciline floor put down ,this is a designated fish room so I can take my time and get it right without the wife getting upset that it is taking to long .

electrics are installed on a seperate supply ,there will be two vortec battery backups ,and a honda generator in the garage just incase .

Metal frame is now built painted and I am starting to clad the inside .The inside will be claded with a formica paneling called trespa the reason that I am useing this is if I have an accident it will hold water without any damage and it can be cleaned easilly

The Tank will be made on site due to the size and thickness the corners of the glass will be mitred together ,and the back will be CNC cut with a external weir attached I have opted for a blue back ground that will be profesionally sprayed.

Hi mate is that the Tahir I know ,been a member for many years and thought it was about time to get involved and show my tank

Due to how I wanted this tank built I was let down by the first tank builder and wasted 18 weeks ,so decided on setting the sump up first .So I went and picked the sump up

The sump is 46" x24" x18" all polished glass ,some equipment that I will be useing is a calcium reactor ,for this I will be useing a destaco 2
