I have decided to do the stand in Ash with mirror black doors ,all these are manufactured in my workshop

Nice hey wanted to ask you something...where did you buy the plastic port holes that you used to cover the holes on the back of your stand? Ive been going nuts looking for those?

Hi mate they are bought from a company called trend they sell router cutters ,most suppliers should be able to get hold of them

The Tank stand and equipment is all set up and running ,all I need now is a tank so on with the tank build while this is matureing

Many thanks ,the stand is then given 6 coats of varnish ,wet and dried sanded between coats to give a mirror finish

Now all I have to do is connect it all up ,I wanted to make this system easy to maintain ,and I am lucky to have a utility at the back wall of the tank ,this is where I will have two 75l containers ,one with top up water and one with salted .

These are all machined ,useing latest machinery for glass work ,the finish when you look at the tank is exceptional

I have tead of from the return pump and plumbed this direct into a drain with a ball valve ,I have another pipe coming in direct through the back ,this has a ball valve on it so all I do when I want to do a water change is simply open and close ball valves water change done in a few minutes

The rock structures are going to be done out of reef bones and rock all dried ,some of these I have been soaking for a few weeks but most will just be used as they come
