My new skimmer!

I finally got around to taking some pictures of my new skimmer. I am itching to hook it up, but I will have to be patient until my new tank gets here. It would be pointless to hook it up to the 55. It might skim a little good for that tank.

The skimmer is a Vertex IN-180. It looks like a beast.

Dang that thing does look like a beast! nice pickup. I know the feeling. I want to hook up my ASM but it would be overkill on my 45.

The only thing keeping me from putting it on the 55 is the fact that I do not have enough clearance in my sump. Otherwise I would be skimming the skin off of my corals LOL.
