No I don't mind Chris, this is one reason I didn't put this thread in the main forum!

Pierce, that really sucks!! One of the reasons I asked so many people over when I moved my tank was because of things like that. That, and we only had to move it about 8 feet and up one step.

Chuck, me and acrylic don't play nice together. I scratch the heck out of it, and it shows it off like a proud papa ! As heavy as glass is, I still like it over acrylic.

Chuck, not much has changed in the last 8 months. Unfortunately, I still can't seem to keep SPS (may have a new idea but not sold on it yet), and I still don't have as much time as I need to do anything. Work has been killing me with OT the last few months, no time to spend the extra $$ yet.

Very nice! How big are the Desjardinis? Are they a pair? Do you have more than two in there?

The desjardin's are I dunno 3-4inch in the body? They are a pair I suppose. One is lighter than the other (color). They sorta cruise together, but hard to say are they "paired". Just 2 of em. 2 purples as well. Same sorta deal with them. They sorta cruise together, but I dunno "paired". No color dimorphism between the purples.

gsxunv04, unfortunately moonpod has taken his tank down. Gabe is correct, they are back plates (reef ceramics) from Captive Oceans. It doesn't take long before they look like LR.

That's because I haven't done it yet

I kind of took most of this year off working on the tank, and spent most of my time working 50 to 70+ hour work weeks. I actually started the wood work, it's all sitting in the garage covered in dust. I have a few days off again so my plan is to finish cleaning out the garage so I can start working on things again. I've also had a hair algae problem due to my kids feeding the fish the last few months. That's the next thing I need to take care of.

Kona, did you ever get the cap in your avatar back. You had mentioned a while back (2 years or so) that you were going to put a piece of it in your tank. I lost mine (see page 3 I think) about two years ago due to back to back tank crashes where I lost everything!!! Baseball sized superman monti, huge ora tort, just to start naming off a few things Didn't know if you still had yours. I'm thinking about setting up an sps tank again, and want to try and get a piece back like what I used to have.
