This is for my mantis/coral tank BTW.

I have the back drilled for an overflow and for space saving I put the air intake for the pipe on the outside of the tank so I can keep a lower profile.

I used all dead Fiji rock for $2/Lbs which gave me time to drill it all for 3/8ths acrylic support rods(really helps for overhangs/towers). I also drilled a ton of holes in the rock for frag plugs which I actually have a hard time finding as they blend right in.

I built a 20gal sump and installed a removable shelf above it for my top off water. Then dumped in about 20Lbs of 'live' rock to help seed. I also just used a silica sand... I know it's fine but really just doesn't look the same.

I've been taking photos after every change and putting it into a movie program so I hope to do a time laps short film... will see how it turns out but so far so good.
