My new tank w/ some ?

Nice work! I love th elook of that tank and bieng able to view it from almost every side is really cool. Keep us posted on the lights!

Thanks all!

Yeah, I put most of my rock on the front 3 sides, but the side against the wall, I did not bring the rock all the way up to the overflow (Pic 3).

Quick question.

I love anthias, but do they have a lateral swim length minimum as some other fish? I also know they like darker tanks, but just curious what people think.

I have contemplated getting a harem for this tank, as they would be main fish.

Tank is looking great. Love rockwork. Your tank size will be fine for smaller anthias(tuka, bartlettorum, squamipinnis, Nemanthias carberryi and etc) and yes, deepwater anthias sp. do prefer dim lighting, but there are a lot of anthias sp. from shallow waters. Also they prefer to be fed small quantities of food, several times daily then one big meal.

If you want the most efficient LEDs the XP-Gs for cool white, and the XP-Es for royal blue. If you are wanting to do a moonlight effect I would recommend a few low power LEDs from superbrightleds.com they are around $2 - $4 each and will run off any 12v source. the crew RBs are going to be really bright for moonlights and would give you more of a actinic only look. Hope that helps.
