Looks good. I would love to have the room to use one of those skimmers. I feel like I got hornshwaggled with the asm.

Nice piece of machinery...

:) Is the Heiney keg for size reference? :)

Def for reference. The loving wife has me on a low carb diet which eliminates the brew for awile. She dont think I can eat healthy & not drink for 2 weeks. If I complete my mission I get to get a new tattoo along my ribcage & she wont gripe about it. Lets just say I really hate the low carb deal though.

That's awesome:D.

Keep us posted on the Octopus. I never know what to tell people on smaller (and non Beckett) skimmers. ASM's and ER's are my common answer now, but always looking for something else.

Nice skimmer Jason. Only one trip to Lowes...Impressive!
Thanks Matt. I has to go get some flexible tubing for the input of the skimmer one thing I hate is multiple trips to lowes for a single project.

Way to go, and look forward to reports on how you like after some use. BTW, Like the new avatar. that is one pretty fish

well three full days of operation and it seems to be running smothly. No collection cup overflows or anything like that yet. I have noticed the water in my display looks a considerbley more clear. I'll post some better pics and maybe some skimate pics at about the one week break in point. How long does the so called break in periods last. 1 week or 2 or more. I also have another piece of equipment due to arrive mid week I'll post pics of it if and when it gets here.
