My Nigripis

I got two and this is the one that survived shipping and boy did he survive... Eats like a pig. So far hes eating flakes, selcon soaked mysis, and cyclopeeze.

No inormal breathing or swimming.. About 20 minutes after i put him in the tank he went straight to the RBTA.

wow... a pink nigrips?!?! I've always liked nigrips but the pink just thows it over the top!

Good luck with that beauty! I've herd they have been known to crash suddenly a few weeks after shipment.

I am feeding the fish all different types of foods enriched with selcon and other vitamens.

He/She has no problem eating either. Quite the little pig and they usaully get darker with age it could be the flash from the camera.

Beautiful fish, just watch it carefully, the nigripes i got did fine for a month, woke up one morning, bam, dead. No rhyme or reason, was eating fine and had shown no earlier problems. Keep it healthy, and keep enriching the foods and good luck!

I need to find some algea flakes for this little bugger. I remeber seeing a study of stomach content and alot of it for clowns was algea.

you'll find that on fishbase.org. clowns get a lot of micro algae in their diets from eating the pods that graze on that type of algae. You can find spirulina online or in some LFSes or check your local asian food market for seaweed (Nori).
