My OBD 200 gallon rimless cube build

So some of you know about my plans to build a 4'x4'x20" cube. Its gonna be a carpet anemone specific tank. It's going to showcase Gig, haddoni, maxi-mini, and mini carpets. Along with some clams and a few corals if they can stay out of the way:) I am having the Oceans By Design team working on this tank for me. They are custom tank builders in the seattle area. I know my dimensions are not sustom but I was able to sit down and design every aspect of this tank with their expertise. This tank is my dream tank and will take longer to get wet than I really want(damn budget) but many of the pieces are in place. The glass and materials have been ordered. The construction will start in a month or so and I am excited about it to say the least. But before that I need to build a stand. That will be bought with gift cards I get from work for a doing a good job. And I will be putting together the sump and display refugium also in the meantime. The sump will be a 75 gallon which will hold most of the live rock because I plan to have a minimal amount of rock in the display with some branching tonga to accent. one of the walls of the stand will feature the 30 gallon display refugium and a cryptic refugium near the outflow that empties into the sump. So many things to explain but I got a pic or two of a tank that OBD built with the same dimensions.

Hey that is so cool since I'm from the area as well and I love their store! I love the idea of going custom as well, but with my high school student budget, I'd stick with my aqueon tank and follow build thread like yours. Good luck! Im subscribed to this thread.

It's a sad update to tell you the truth. The tank took a back seat to some financial concerns. And then I had to move, then all the large carpet anemones that were supposed to go in it died from an infection brought in by a newly acquired gig. And then I had to move which finished off the last gig. I almost quit the hobby at that point and even now I struggle to get back that passion. But after winning a pair of spotcinctus clowns in a raffle I'm starting to feel like I can do this again. my new place doesn't have
room for a 4'x4' cube. So after talking to mike at OBD I've settled on a 45 gallon starfire cube. Watch for that thread next:)
