So some of you know about my plans to build a 4'x4'x20" cube. Its gonna be a carpet anemone specific tank. It's going to showcase Gig, haddoni, maxi-mini, and mini carpets. Along with some clams and a few corals if they can stay out of the way
I am having the Oceans By Design team working on this tank for me. They are custom tank builders in the seattle area. I know my dimensions are not sustom but I was able to sit down and design every aspect of this tank with their expertise. This tank is my dream tank and will take longer to get wet than I really want(damn budget) but many of the pieces are in place. The glass and materials have been ordered. The construction will start in a month or so and I am excited about it to say the least. But before that I need to build a stand. That will be bought with gift cards I get from work for a doing a good job. And I will be putting together the sump and display refugium also in the meantime. The sump will be a 75 gallon which will hold most of the live rock because I plan to have a minimal amount of rock in the display with some branching tonga to accent. one of the walls of the stand will feature the 30 gallon display refugium and a cryptic refugium near the outflow that empties into the sump. So many things to explain but I got a pic or two of a tank that OBD built with the same dimensions.
