Johnny, great looking tank, wouldn't expect nothing less from you. I have a question in reference to your light fixture, I been having a problem with some burnt corals and I suspect that the problem is a a small gap between the two pieces of glass that are under the light fixture, my Maristar uses two 3' glasses that join in the middle exactly under the double ended bulb filament.
The Gap is about a 1/16" and the corals directly under show a burn mark along this line, I was wonder if you have notice something similar and if so how did you corrected?

Rogger, i know exactly what you mean however, on mine, the two 36" panes make a close eneough junstion that there is no gap and all light gets filtered.

ROgger, you can get a 4ft and a 2ft lens that way the seam will NOT fall smack in the middle of the center bulb. Sunlight Supply sells the panes individually. THey should have made their 6 foor Maristar using a 4ft and a 2 ft UV lense, not (2) 36".

Hope this helps, JOHNNY
