My pair of Black Onyx True Percula Clownfish!

Sorry for your loss. i lost an onyx several months and im still dismayed over it.

i have eggcrate and plexiglass over my open tank. you can get both at home depo. my other tanks are nanocubes. so no risk of jumping.

Rods onyx are beautiful. below, mine @ almost 2yrs in age. the dorsal is all black, stomach is almost all black, and proximal part of the pectoral fins are black also. never seen this trait in other onyx/percs. Rod has a juv batch ready soon. Its nice to support breeders. Even though there appears to be many onyx clowns out there now, Rod is only onyx breeder im aware of thats selling.

I was at Rods store the other day. The parents are sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it is very cool to see the babies in person. He has a few clucthes weeks apart. Nice guy to talk to. I recommend him to anyone.

when you buy a pair from such breeders, how do you know that the pair you're getting are not siblings or are related to each other in any way...?

they all are. all captive bred fish are most likey siblings. if you ask Rod, most likely his parents are siblings also. unless you buy wc clowns, most likely you have siblings.

im jealous you get to see rods babies in person. he sent me some pics of them recently, its really nice to see there development.
