My Percula went to hell and back!!

My percula went through hell and lived to tell about it. I noticed that my percula had been missing for almost 2 days. At that time I assumed he became fish food for all the other inhabitants. I received a call from my son who was at home and said that the percula is in the sump, alive and well. This means that he had to have traveled into the overflow down into the durso through the hard plumbing under my tank and into, and over the filter sock and into the sump itself. Amazing!!

ive had that happen quite a few times. however im impressed yours made it over the filtersock. Its nemo! haha

If my filter sock wasnt so dirty and overfilling, I don't think he would be alive today!

At my old work which was an aquarium shop we had a sump that was very hard to reach and see into. When we broke the system down after several years, we found an entire fish community complete with gobies, blennies, a spawning pair of percs and a royal gramma that was almost 4 inches long!

Wow that's AMAZING! Also, GP, thank heavens for us lazy hobbiests who don't clean ALL the time. lol

I had a snowflake eel do the same thing once, but he wasn't quite so lucky, he wound up in my skimmer pump....:sad2:

That's cool....nice to see that tank-raised livestock can survive under some of the worst conditions....and survive quite well!!!
