My pipefish is eating pellets!

The fungus is among us.
For the first time today, I noticed my multi-band pipe snicking pellets from the water surface. I was excited in that way that only other fish nerds can understand.

Here's a cruddy little video.

The toby is very peaceful. I've never seen any fin nipping or evidence thereof save one time when one of my pipes had a damaged caudal fin. I have no particular reason to suspect the toby. But it's certainly possible. I feed heavily which may help. Definitely hard on the CUC though. Has taken out nassarius and cerith snails. Doesn't bother any coral that I've seen. I have all softies and leathers save a colony of Hydnophora and a colony of Euphyllia. A really cool fish with lots of personality. It's like having a tiny trigger.
