my plan, do you think it will work?

So I have a true perc clown that has decided to host my powerhead and inlet for my skimmer. So basically he chills in the upper right hand corner of the tanks 90% of the time. Every once and a while he comes down to swill in the water and socalize with the other fish.

I'm thinking about buying a rose anemone, introducing it and removing the powerhead and skimmer for a few days. Hopefull my clown will do some exploring and host the anemone.

What do you guys think?

I stuck two RBTA's in with my pair of True Perc's and they never went to them once. As soon as I moved them into my LPS tank, they went straight to a colony of frogspawn.

Hopefully you have better luck then I did. :)

I just sold my single B&W ocellarus that had been hosting my RBTA for 2 years & bought a pair of saddlebacks. They both host a brain & won't go near the anemone. I think they're scared of it!

Some RBTA's are not liked by any clown.I have several RBTA's.I have introduced 5 pairs of clowns to one of them. None of them will host. All the clowns will host to my other RBTA's.Some anoms just are not liked.

This may sound pretty silly but I read in one thread where it's recommended to tape a picture (outside of glass w/picture in, of course) of a RTBA hosting clown near the real RTBA. Power of suggestion I guess.

See, I told you it sounded silly. :)
But true.

My maroon gold stripes love GBTA.
My friends oscolaris host a tupperware container that holds rumble for polyps to attach to. Most of the polyps get attached and relocated but the clowns love thier little love shack
