my poor clownfish

hi guys. I currently have a clown and a yellow tail damsel. Last week i had my other clownfish die on me. Now my lonely clown and damsel are both on the bottom of the tank just kinda moving back and forth in the same spot all the time. They are eating fine but just don't seem to have the same umph they had before. Are they depressed?

I don't have a pic unfortunately. The clown is now swimming around like usual but the damsel is hanging out under a ledge of some live rock with just the tip of his nose touching the rock. His tail looks like it is bent and possibly missing a piece. My water parameters are
ammonia 0
PH 8.2
nitrate 0
My clown looks like there is a very dull bearly noticeable white line the exact shape of the outline of one of his fins. Can you shed some light on this.
thanks

That's his lateral line. That's normal.

What do you measure nitrites at? What test kits are you using?

Did you set up the tank and stock it 3 weeks ago? That might be a problem.

I would suggest you get a book by Dr. Fenner "Marine Aquarist", it will give you a good jump start for setting up the tank, etc.
