My Poor Hammer

My poor hammer has gotten so big, 24 heads, he tipped over. The small rock he was on just wasn't enough. So I pulled him out and tried to mount him on a larger rock but the base stalk is so small I just couldn't get it to work. Finally after struggling for almost a half hour I was able to mount him onto a thread piece of pvc, I actually tried screwing the base into the pvc. I kept him in water as much as possible, and tried not to crush him as I struggled to apply pressure. I know he is stressed, hopefully I didn't do any permanent damage....UGH!!

Agree with Brandon...it's just peeved it's been "adjusted" so much. Place where you think best and I bet "he" opens fine.

Something to think about... Get some epoxy (the white stick with the green center that you mix together) and press it on to the base. Mold it with your fingers to make a new branch. Then leave the coral in the "female" pvc to cure for a couple of days. Now you can "stick em" wherever you want.
