My powerhead fell on my torch coral

I came home from work today and my girlfriend informed me that my powerhead had come unattached from the glass an fell on my torch coral. One of the heads was recessed and and the others are not extended as much as normal. She didn't know how long the powerhead had been on the coral (But she did remove the powerhead). The main injury is in the head in the center of the photo. Plus the adjacent heads are retracted along their edges. Is there anything I can do to help the coral recover?

I agree, your torch looks fine (just bruised). The best power head investment I ever made was getting rid of suction cups. You can buy magnetic holders for Seios, Maxijets and some others or just buy Koralias (reasonably priced) or Tunzes (nice but expensive) as they come with magnetic holders. I have never had a suction cup on anything that worked. If you are using suction cups you may want to buy the magnetic holders (available from several of the on-line suppliers).

cheap magfloats... epoxy or superglue them on. the magfloats do not in any way effect the magnetic impeller
