Just got my stuff and everything looks great. I really like the 7100K bulbs on my planted tank they look a lot brighter than the bulbs I replaced. I have one question though. The 50/50 24watt coralife bulb I purchased has a slight rattle inside of it like a small piece of glass. The bulb works and looks good, just curious as to why that is. You guys are great.

Hi Ryan,

Glad you got everything ok!

The rattle is most likely just a piece of glass. When the glass tubes are blown for those they have an end point where everything kind of "seams up". This creates a nipple that can sometimes break off and then float around inside the bulb creating the rattle.
