My Purple Giganteas in HD

Looking pretty sweet! I think i will be on the hunt soon for a green or blue gig to add into the mix when i upgrade as the gig and mag take up a majority of the tank lol

Very nice shots!I have never been a fan of Nikon, always loved my Canon!I need to upgrade soonish though...

The anemones look great!Very clean looking tank for sure.

Hi Nick

Where did you get the second Gig? you really need to tell me!! Please PM me. Is it John in RI? or Jay's in NH?

common Nick you can't get them all eventually you will run out of space so let's pass on some to me :)

Lol, I got the first one on the left at Jay's. The second one I actually got it from a member in the brs who's breaking down his tank. That was the reason why I didn't hesitate to put another gig in the tank. I wouldn't just put newly shipped gig in the same tank as my previous healthy one. Way too much risk IMO.

Hey, PM me your number or email so I can give you a holler when I see one at the LFSs I go to. I saw a very nice mag the other day at Jays but the thing was easily over 2feet diameter when fully expanded. I stood in the front at look and look but I know there's no way in he'll I can get it in my tank.

You dont worry about having three huge anemones in a 57g? I am just wondering as I have the same tank..

he is not worry becuase he has a friend that has a much bigger tank that lives near him :)

Nick you know how to contact me when you need to find one a new home :)

Hehe. I have an Elos 6'x3'x2' in the plan. My vision is to have a two-pile rockwork peninsula tank with one side dedicated to anemones. We'll see how it goes lol.
For now, I just don't feed my anemones.

I saw a picture he posted recently with the tank full of SPS frags and I could not see any anemones.

Sorry guys. I've sold all the anemones in the tank. You can actually find some of my fs post here on RC.
It was quite a difficult decision for me but for the years that I've kept my tank with anemones and especially going all anemones in the tank for past year, I felt empty and quite frankly, bored with the hobby. There's really isn't anything to be excited about when I look at the tank. The anemones were taking too much real estate. And anytime I put a piece of SPS frag with the anemone, it always end up dead. With so much equipments invested in this hobby, I want to convert back to full blown SPS. With a tank my size, I can have many kinds of SPS and other corals. With anemones, I can only put 3-4 max.
I'm sure my future reef will have anemone in it for sure but right now, I just want to focus on SPS and LPS.
