Hi Everyone

I've had this rainbow yuma for about 6 months now.

I thought that the coloration was kind of unique, so I thought I'd share some pics... What do you think?

Same! I went to their store in Hayward. At the time, they had two. You must've gotten the other one (it was also really nice). I posted that I've had this for six months; now that I think about it, it's really only been about two months...

Someone asked about acclimating. I think they're the same as other softies, but maybe a bit more sensitive. Depending on your lighting, keep them at the bottom/low-light/low-med flow.

not trying to be negative here but I've received yumas on a shaded side of a rock that were that color due to lack of light. IMHO that looks like a bleached Yuma to me.

It might seems that way from the pic, but it's definitely not bleached. (I've had corals bleach before...).

Sidenote: when a coral is bleached, it's not usually for 'lack of light'. It's generally b/c it's stressed (water chemistry, salinity, temp), and it expels its symbiotic algae. In fact, when rehabbing a 'bleached' coral, I find that it's better to provide modest- rather than strong light- while it heals.

Hi amazing looking mushroom.. I really liked those green zoas reaching for light haha do you know the name of them?
