I picked up an amazing RBTA from a fellow reefer last Sunday. On Monday morning he had moved himself all the way to the complete opposite side of the tank which does not have a halide over it. This continued till Tuesday. Then when Tuesday evening came around he was getting too small for comfort. So I reaquascaped so that the little RBTA and his rock were in the path of the halide.
So, for the past couple days he has been happy as a bee pulling mysid shrimp and brine right out of the water when I feed my fish. But the thing is, that he seemed to be moving farther away from the Halide and closer to the stream of a near by power head.
He came from a 45g tank under a set of T5's and is now in a 50g with a 250W MH; soon to be a 50g with a 250W and 150W MH.
Could it be he wants to be in a higher flow area and the light is a little much for him? Or just more flow, or is it that he is a little stressed by the much higher amount of light?
