My RBTA just ate a 6" bristle worm

I noticed this last night. A bristle worm about 6" in length was crawling on the rock too close to the tentacles of my RBTA. The RBTA swooped the worm in and devoured it before I could even think of what to do.
This morning when I looked at the tank before leaving for work, the anemone looks like ****:mad2:

You would look like crap too if you ate a 6" bristle worm... Keep us updated as this is a first for me.

I have the same situation with my LTA. It was on the LR and the clarki clown that is hosting the LTA grabbed it up and fed it to the anemone. He did look crazy for several days. Shrunk up in one spot on the disk that rotated throughout the day. I was and still am worried that it is eating him form the inside. Today after about 5 days he now is fully inflated and looks back to normal. I am guessing just bad intagestion.

I had a maroon once that would pull bristle worms out of the rock and drop them into my RBTA. It never got sick or anything

Bristle worm won't survive inside the Nem, it's just very rough and hard to digest. Probably cuts up the Nem internally until the worm is processed and ejected.
