Size? And how long did it take to attach to rock?

Its was about the size of a tennis ball when i got it. Had it for a few months now. Its about 6.5 7inches round now.I bought it off a fellow reefer already attached to a rock, placed it in a simular spot in my tank that is was in in her tank. Never Moved.
