My reef closet (FS/Wanted)

I mis-titled my last thread. So here you go, this is what is sitting in my reef or closet that needs a new home.

What are the measurements of the sapphire? Any idea if it will work in a 25g solana?

You could certainly use the skimmer in a solana if you were able submerse it in about 8" of water. I will try and get a measurement of the necessary height for you.

I have a used sunpod without a hanging kit for sale $125. I also have a tunze 9002, $100.. I am traveling to Hartford the weekend after labor day, so if your along 90 we should be able to rendezvous.

I couldn't give the mandy away months ago. I actually got two pms off this most recent post. I actually purchased 3k pods from reefs2go to set up a pod factory and set myself back about 80 bucks so I'm a bit too invested at this point to sell him. I will likely sell a lot of my livestock off at the end of the year when I am getting ready to move.

Cory, how did those pods end up working for you? Could you visibly see more pods, and if you did, where did you notice them more, in the rock or cheato?

I added one bag to the tank and two to a 5 gallon tank with calcium reactor media on the bottom. I got a plastic basket like strawberries would come in and lined it with two layers of filter floss. I put a small piece of nori in the middle. I was able to add this to the main tank and watched dozens of adult pods run out. I won't feed again during the day, because even my tang enjoys pods, but so far so good. I usually spot pods after lights out, but if u press your nose to the glass and stare at a spot, pods are usually around, at least in my tank....for now. I don't run cheato, I'be actually never tried it.

If u want a batch of pods I can probably spare some in a week or two. I just have no idea of their density atm.shoot me a pk. Let me know if Ur nerites survived...I only yielded 50%.
