Thanks Cham. If you click the red house, most of the equipment stuff is there, but here are the main components.
Both systems are plumbed together to same sump
Main Tank:
180AGA - Dual corner overflows
Tunze PHs 2-6101 on a 7095 controller & 1-6045
3-250 HQI 14K Pheonix
9 - PowerBrite LED bars (32 blue LED's)
3 - 48" T-5, 2 Pure actinic, 1 Aqua Blue
Bubble King SM 250
1/5 Chiller
Neptune AC3 with 2 DC8's and an DC4HD
Iwaki return pump
Shallow Tank:
Glass Cages 70W - Center back overflow
Tunze PHs - 1-6055 on a 7095 controller & 1-6025
2- 150 Viper's 20K HQI Radium Bulbs
Mag18 return pump
Water Parameters:
Temp: 78 - 80
Alk: 8.5 - 9.2
Cal: 430
Mag: 1320
Phos: 0
Nitrates: 0

Continued on husbandry:
I dose Kalk in my top off tank. 10ML per gallon of R/O D.I. I get about 3 gallons of evaporation a day. I use a 40 gallon breeder as my top off tank. A JBJ ATO and an Aqualifter pump to transport water as needed.
I run 500ML of GAC in a filter bag placed in in the return section of the sump. I replace it every 3 weeks.
I also run 500ML of PhosGuard in a filter bag placed in a sock. That I replace every 2 - 3 months.
I run a large 200 micron sock which is switched out with a clean one every 3 days and I usually clean out the skimmer at that time.
About once a month I check my Calcium, Alk, and Mag and adjust if needed with 2-part. Calcium and Mag is usually right on and I add about 120ML of alk.
I do 15 gallon weekly water changes with Tropic Marin or Oceanic salt. I've changed my schedule to 1 1/2 weeks recently to see how that goes.
That's about it for now, I don't know if what I'm doing is better than any other method but it works for me.

It has worked out well so far. My tank is on the other side of that same wall so no fancy plumbing.
The benefits I've noticed are:
*No noise in the house, all noise making equipment is outside
*Great airation via the "waterfall" into the sump and skimmer pulling fresh air
*Plenty of room for extra equipment
*Easy water changes and ATO
I placed two fans outside, one over the sump and one over the frag tank and it actually does about 80% of my tank cooling now. The fans on my DT only run about 20 or 30 minutes total per day. I'm interested to see how much that changes as the summer heats up but I'm not too worried. The azoo's over the DT kept up last summer.

Cham, plumbing mine would be a PITA due to where the tank is located. My garage pretty much turns into an oven as well. Heat scares me some. I'm glad your set up is working well for you. I'd love a fishroom type place for my equipment. I'm getting too damn old to crawl under the stand every 10 minutes it seems.
