My Sigma F2.8 Macro Lens

I just ordered a sigma 150mm f2.8 macro lens for 600.00 does this sound like the right one that everyone else is using?

okay I got mine from bhphoto for 599 but I also have another question and you are the perfect one to answer it could you tell me what you do to get them so close because i have been working with mine and i cant get anything real super close in like yours any tips? thanks Rick

Can you post some pics of your progess so far? There aren't many secrects with getting super close, just get the lens as close to the subject as possible and fire away. Getting a super sharp pic will also help for "zoom by crop". Extension tubes an/or a teleconverter will help as well.
