I'm not sure what kind of starfish that is, i put up a post yesterday in the invery forum but no one answered me. all i could find is red fromia, i have no clue what it actually is though, but i dont know what to feed it, and i'm hoping it doesn't get hungry for my star polyps. and no i just stacked them up there very carefully.

The store I bought mine at called it a Red Bali Sea Star.
I can't believe how much mine moves around my tank!

lynetteww125 - does yours really move around your tank that much? mine hasn't moved for like a day and a half now, where it is in that picture...its still there this morning. what do you feed yours? i tried to feed it some brine shrimp last night but that didn't work.
socalchris - I'll get a few pics of my fuge and my new coral ( if it ever comes ) a little later today so check back.
thanks for the compliments.

Here are the new frags we just got for the tanks, the pink setosa one and superman monti's are in my tank while the other three, purple grimace, rainbow, and hispada montipora's are in my dad's tank.

It didn't move around nearly that much when I first had him, but now he moved around quite a bit. He does pause for breaks though. Try getting some small pieces of krill and use that to feed him with. Otherwise, mine has been happy eating algae off the tank. He looks just as healthy as the day I got him and he has been in there for close to a month now, if not longer.

thanks wendy, yeah i didn't really know about the sensitivity of starfish till after i put him in the tank, and i just dripped him for about half an hour and put him in. I found out later how sensitive they were and thought for sure he'd die, but every day he gets more and more active in there so i guess not!

i've never feed mine, he eats the algae and is moving around alot, takes breaks like lynetteww125's i assume to "sleep" or something.
he's been in there for 9 months
