my snail smokin!

I was looking in my tank only 20min ago and this turbo snail was on top of this leaf thing in my tank, ID would be good if you know what the leaf thing is. So im looking at the snail getting shaking about on this leaf and there was what looked like smoke coming from a small tube at the snails head. I watched it for over a minute and it was still coming out is this good or bad? Could this be a male spawning? I had a look on the net and I can only see things about laying eggs. I would really like to know what this was. Have a look at the vid and see for yourself....sorry about a quality it was on a camera phone and ther is a pic of it and the leaf it was on.

You might start to notice weird looking swirly looking things stuck on your tank glass very soon..

most likely a spawning event. most of it made a nice meal for your filter feeders and corals.

Stomatella snails do that when they reproduce. Didn't know turbos did, but there you are.
