My Snowflakes have hosted to my RBTA!

This is actually my second pair of Snowflakes. My first pair I sold to a fellow RC'er, but after doing so I got an ear full from my wife and sons. I had no idea it was their favorite fish. Well my kids, yeah, because of Nemo and Marlin, but not my wife.

So I got lucky when my lfs was able to locate me a pair. Anyway, only a week and a half later, they chose my RBTA to be their home. My last pair picked everything else in my tank - my mysidium (Sp?) and pink ricordia to name a couple.

Here's a pic of them in their new home:

Now that they have a comfortable home, I wonder if they'll breed. I'll keep a sharp eye out. I know nothing about breeding or genetics, but if they do breed, will their offspring all be snowflakes or a few will and a few will be regular ocelaris?

It seems you will have a good prob. of dev. babies with a higher than av. prob. of varying levels of snowflake patterns.

good luck with the process and congrats. with there addition to your system.

Yeah, that is why I first looked at it. I can't imagine why I was thinking that at that very moment. But I thought it was humorous enough to be
written down.

Hmmm you know I just don't like the snowflake clowns. Seems like a breeding experiment gone wrong. Or they came from the effluent of a nuclear power plant!

Love the Gem Tang though! Nice tank.

Very nice clowns and tang.

Question, what type of SPS coral is the green one that is above and to the right of the gem tang? The minty green low grower?

Anybody see the unusual color clam (Maxima?). Can you show a full picture of this clam. Top down if possible?

The Gem tang and what I can see of your tank are both gorgeous.
But I can't really say I like the look of the misbarred/mottled clowns,
they are ugly to me.
