my sps nano

Greetings!

It’s an honor for me to be part of this wonderful site n I would like to take this opportunity to share my setup n hopefully getting a lot of good needed advice on how to make this additive hobby to be a successful one. This nano was first setup since Feb. 06. I have it custom made from a local LFS. a little specs about it....


all round 10mm glass tank is 24inchx12inchx18inch(pretty solid for small size tank ,don’t u guys think?)
DIY small sump(not a good job but it works)
China made brand chiller with a little modification (26~28 degrees c)
single 250watt MH using 10k BLV SE bulb+2x24watt T5 VHO using ATI actinic tube bulbs.
HnS skimmer insump type
2x seio pumps as wavemakers/aquabee2000 pump for the return
local made Fluid Reactor
local made Calcium Reactor wif rowalit c+ (as media.)

Current water parameters are:
ph 7.9~8.1 Aquazs testkits
dkh 12??? using salifert testkits
Calcium 470ppm using salifert testkits
Magnesium 1490ppm using salifert testkits
Salinity1.024 using hydrometer
nitrite undetected using Aquazs testkits
nitrate undetected using salifert testkits
Po4 undetected using salifert testkits

*do I need to bring it down a little on the dkh?

My theme is a grown out sps fragments tank wif a bit of softies n some nice clams (still searching).

I'm now open for suggestions... thanks!

Your tank looks amazing. I hope my 37 cube will look like that in a couple of months. The purple monti is one of the most colorful I've seen. Congrats on having a beautiful tank.

I can't help but notice your overflow amongst all those beautiful sps. I notice it has no teeth. What type of flow do you put through there? Also what are the dimensions of the oveflow and what size sump are you using?

yep.no teeth n im using a 20mm dia modified durso standtype pipe wif alots of small holes. its 4inchx6inch overflow box.
