my stocking wish list.... almsot there :)

so the blue hippo, yellow tang, and convict tang is really pushing it?

what if i get the convict tang and foxface?

im loving the harlequin tusk but it will eat my inverts :(

I'm not sure if the Blenny will eat pods but it might be doable.

Not sure about the other fish, never looked at them much before.

Sorry...

Just so you know the Foxface has been known to nip softies,.... and destroy Zoa Colonies (eating them). They also get to big for a 90 Gallon.

If you want to put 3 Tangs in you 90 Gallon you're going to have to stick to very strict water change schedule... and you are still going to have aggression problems I would think.

If I were to try 3 Tangs (I wouldn't) I would go with a Hawaii Yellow Tang, a Convict, and a Powder Brown/Whitecheek. Hippos get way to big, and they are like the Honda Civics of fish tanks (everyone has one).

+1

If it were me, and I wanted the Hippo for sure, I'd just go with one tang and forget about the others...maybe add a Kole Eye or something else that will stay small but I wouldn't do 3.

true...i wont try 3 tangs, maybe just two....

probably the blue and the yellow...

what about the dwarf flame??

Flame Angels are hit or miss.

As far as compatibility wise with the tangs I don't foresee any problems till that blue tang gets big. Then again the Blue is gonna beat up everything in that tank once it gets big lol. The yellow and the angel will stick to the rocks and graze. The Blue will obviously graze as well but spend most of his time zipping back and forth in the open water.

The angels are hit or miss as far as nipping at corals/clams though. If you do add one just be prepared to remove it if it happens to take a bite of your lovely coral.

Fish have personality traits and mannerisms just like people. One flame angel won't like the taste of coral, another will. As long as you are prepared to remove it for the sake of any coral/clams in the tank you'll be fine.

*I also notice you said the Blue Tang would be "taken care of" once it gets larger. I don't recommend buying a fish with the plan of upgrading tank/trading it in the future. It's not my tank though so if you decide to go this route take this into account please

If you plan to upgrade fantastic, don't plan on finding another owner though. It will be nearly impossible to get a private party to take a 1' long tang off your hands. If you fight a buy good, but try and plan ahead. If you plan on upgrading plan it early so that if you hit any snags the delays won't affect your fishes health.

yeah the upgrading ive got covered. my friend has a 300+ aquarium and skimmer and all hed sell me for $400 for everything, so in about 2 yrs or so ill upgrade :)

so you did want to share with the local group? shame on you. well atlest the people here are say the same things we have said.

I know im going to get killed for saying this but i had a mandrin goby, watchman goby and 3 clown fish a flame angel a yellow tang and a hippo tang all in a 55 gallon for well over a year i got all the fish small and i added them slowly the hippo and yellow bieng the last in the tank. my hippo tang went from 2.5 inchs to about 5.5 inches in that time frame i did water changes weekley but the will grow quickley and they are all living just fine in my 120g along with my new addition the powder blue tang so if you got the time to do alot of water changes and you have another tank i say go for it..
