That clown is sweet and I like the look of you tank. Looks like you got alot of surfave agitation. The rockwork is cool and i think the middle rock covered in GSP would be cool. Doesnt a butterfly get too big for a tank this size.
thanks Henry, ya the butterfly is being traded for a couple frags of zoas on saturday so thats taken care of the surface agitation is crazy but unfortunatly so is the evaporation which as you can see needs some gelp as of the pic(today!)
... when you take pictures try to eliminate all light behind you, such as daylight or room light. This way you'll get less of your reflection in the pictures. I find the evening when almost all light can be eliminated to be the best time for pictures! Also try turning up your shutter speed when taking fish pics and when trying to get a close up by zooming in you have to distance yourself a bit from the tank so it can keep focus Hopefully you'll get better at it
Looks like you got some good flow in the tank ...
Is your Scooter Blenny eating? Make sure he is getting enough mysis to fatten him up before your tank can actually supply him with enough pods. They can starve pretty quick ...
chocolateblnt; thanks for the picture tips ill remember that! the scooter bleeny is a friking pig when i drop the cubes in the tank hes the first one to take a chunk out then my clown then my butter fly, coral should come as i find the funds but theres a big frag swap in socal on the 19 this saturday so i might be able to get 3-4 corals there
... sounds awesome bud! I'm very happy to hear the blenny is a pig :lol2: will he eat anything else?! You might want to experiment with different foods also incorporating flakes to help him get the array of vitamin's every fish needs that mysis simply won't provide. What kind of corals are you hoping to pick up?
chocolateblnt; i havent tried any other foods yet but i am planning on making a food with everything imaginable in it like squid, shrimp, scallops, green nori, red nori, baby brine enriched with selcon, mysis, some fish probably grouper, and maybe octopus and then blend and fraaze so that my fish can eat like champs! im looking foward to getting some zoas but thats about it cause money is short right now and im waitig for my paycheck
ok update: i went to a frag swap yesterday and got some relaly cool zoa frags and an acan and a fungai plate frag and a colt also i traded my copperbanded for a zoa frag and got rid of my xenia! i got some frag plugs made my aquatic oddessy and i LOVE THEM could be happier they stick into the sand easily are low profile and no curing time i only got 20 but i wish i had gotten 100!
ya i know i kept on forgetting on how much to use but hey it works on the next frags i wont forget at least they match the plugs!i had superglue but i cant get it to come out any more so i have to go get more until then im glad i had the epoxy
