My tank 8 months in

I set up this tank at the end of September last year. 75 gallon tank. I am new to corals so I am taking it slow, making sure things are holding steady and having no problems so it doesnt have a lot of critters in it yet.

Current stock: melanurus wrasse, maroon clown, diamond watchman goby, 2 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, 3 bali hermit crabs, lobophyllia frag, goniastrea frag, some blue mushrooms, 7 Astraea turbo snails, 2 fighting conchs

Here is how it looks today. A couple of the rocks are new so they are still very white.

Ive had the diatom blooms, the Cyano blooms, the hair algae but it seems to be over it now.

I started with dead rock. Now the rock is being colonized by coraline algae, feather duster worms, spionid worms, amphipods.

The tank seems to be doing real well and Im pretty happy with it so far. Everything seems happy and healthy so far.

Just need to get some more corals now.

Here is a pic of my Lobophyllia (at least I think thats what it is)

Sounds like you're doing everything right...good job. The tank looks real good.
Slow and steady...plus alot of patients and it should only get better.
