My tanks Temp, Ph and ORP

I have a 300 gallon tank.
Today i setup my kalk reactor which i have so the pump switches on every 5 mintues for mixture.
I decided for the first time to pull the data my AQ3 has been storing and i found this...

this is what i found

Reeftankparameters-1.jpg

it seems my PH never really changes at night time.
I just hooked up a kalk reactor and i'm concerned about which Recipe i should use. I'm thinking receipe 2 but is there anything i can do that won't effect my ph too much?

Do you know that you need to add anything other than the limewater? What is the alkalinity?

Recipe 2 is the way to go if you need more alkalinity (and calcium) and do not want to boost pH more, but pH 8.5 at the high end is fine. :)

Any idea why the ORP suddenly dropped at the end?

i don't have an ozonier on my tank and i'm currently not monitoring it.

My ph being this high kinda scares me because i dont do anything to assit in it being that high.

Also with the recipe 2 should i only add the calcim and mag part and not the baking soda part seeing its so high?

i just added the limewater yesterday so i haven't been able to test the alk but i will later on today in about 1/2 an hour

You are not monitoring it but you posted the data? I agree that if you are not using ozone, ORP is fairly unimportant, but since you posted it, I thought you might be looking at the data. :D

The alkalinity part is to supplement alkalinity, not pH. if you do not need alkalinity, I would not routinely add either part.

BUMP
I didn't know i could only add what i needed i was under the impression you couldn't have one without the other

My ALK as of today using a Salfiert test kit read:
KH/ALK 15.7/5.60

Yes, you can add what you need. I'd stick to equal parts dosing unless something is quite out of whack, but boost calcium substantially is one of those.

What is your calcium right now?

my calcium has a tendency to range from 350-425 i only have 2 sps corals at the time and am thinking about adding more this weekend
