My TBS 29Pod at 4 months

Nice tank ... your decorator looks like a win to mine ... he's a kook ... likes to get al the way to the top of the mountain and wave his "arms" as if to say "I'm king of the mountain" ... looks like your pics are too big ... you need to resize before uploading .. right click on this one and look at properties .. that is a good size ... also need option in your profile set to yes for inclusion of pics (not just hyperlink)... hope this might help u for a chg ...

He is wearing the Mexicana Caulpere and the other caulpera that looks like a leaf. Yeah is new resting spot is top of the jet spout then he jumps and parachutes across the tank.

SCOWIII ... here's your crabs brother ...

:lmao:

LOL thats awesome yeah mine had a hat similar to that also.. I think he lost it though on pre flight takeoff.

hey scowii what corals have you added besides the zoa's..i am assuming the gongorians came with your tbs. i cant wait to get part 2 which richard gets back from his fabulous adventure.

The only stuff I have added was the Zoa's and the Green Briarium Stars. Thats it. Other than that the Gorgonian is doing awesome and the Orange sponges are doing fine it seems. The Anemone has grown and came to the tank last night and he must have pooped because there was black mucusy (sp) stuff coming out. And I read the anemone forum and they said its their poop so I quickly siphoned that out.

Tank paramaters are stable since I have almost 60lbs of lr and 29lbs of LS and I change like 1 gal a week and then just small topoffs due to evaporation. I will probably be adding more zoa's and maybe some mushrooms.

Fish ?? Maybe maybe not. Havent decided yet if I want them. I had three gorilla crabs still but I speared one the other day and before I could get it out the serpent star came over and chased him and devoured him. So I guess I better start feeding the serpent a little more often.

I will probably be upgrading my lights in the fall so I can get the two clams I have been eyeballing. :)

You sound like me ... only faster!!

You sound like me ... only faster!!

Not that fast yet with the bar-b-que fork !! I was thinking about a hammer or a high powered projectile!!! :eek1: When I was looking at the tank this weekend, I have a 2x2 piece of rock with a green long-tentacle plate I got and it was going up and down.. looked closer and there was a gorilla doing "bench presses" with the thing  also just now saw my mantis ... it's about 2" long and the fastest little bugger I've ever seen ... Picasso has taken a couple of shots at him, but no luck!!! You mention feeding the serpents ... what and how? They pretty much (I have 2) stay behind/under the rocks and the current isn't in the right direction to get the foor to them directly.
I'm not sure about dishes either ... the LR is so cool and very easy to feed at this point. My tank has also stabilized .. water is clear and the tests are all good every night ... Natural filtration is a good thing (even the skimmer doesn't smell as bad!!!

Well i first feed the tank phyto which bring them out. Then I take a cube of brine and hand feed them close so they get their tentacles on a small block of it. they love it...

Haven't tried that yet ... I did get a good size piece of shrimp by the larger of the 2 tonight and he latched right on to it ... the other is under a rock where the mantis frequents ... BUT ... I moved up to your category 20 min. ago ... walkin past the tank saw Jack "The Gorilla" LaLane strolling along the glass, grabbed the long plastic tweeezers, and :hammer: WHACK ... grabbed him on the first shot ... he slipped out but didn't get too far ... Picasso got a few bites, but now he's now swimmin down the Raritan River somewhere ... big sucker ... could just about close the tweezers ... layin flat in the bottom of the turlet, was almost about the size of a quarter....NEXT! ... :fun2: :crazy1:

LOL voodude! Are you gonna leave your mantis in the tank? I still can't decide about mine....he's so cool! I trapped 5 gorillas with the bait-in-a-glass trick but the mantis has taken care of about a dozen more for me!

scowiii, your tank is looking great! I can't wait to get the 2nd part! Do you aquascape on the side....for the creatively challenged?? Nebraska isn't THAT far from Illinois! lol

May I ask what brand you all are feeding? I need to place an order - LFS isn't up to snuff....bad selection and usually past expiration date!
