My TDS

Well, I picked up a TDS meter to see where my well water is at, and in two tests it was about 98ppm. The thing is, I don't know how good or bad that number is because I really don't have anything to compare it to. Anyone know there TDS before RO/DI? Thanks.

If this is well water,98ppm is actually pretty decent.The lower the ppm of your tap water,the longer your RO/DI cartridges will last,generally.My tap water tds is around 150ppm.Either way your tds should still be 0ppm out of the RO/DI.

My tap is 100-114ppm before RO/DI. This is actually pretty decent water considering that most major cities in the US have a TDS reading of 300+ ppm

Incoming I am at 19ppm. Outgoing is 0 using only a mixed bed DI. No RO waste!

Here in Middletown, I get about 190ppm in, comes down to about 17 out of the RO and 0 from the DI.

Harrisburg I get 130-132ppm in, and 0 out of DI.
