My Tribal Blenny is a monster!!! Reef safe my ***!!!

Everything I've read says these guys are GREAT reef fish, so I picked one up and he betrayed me!! Just over last night he wiped out my little coral :( I saw it this morning and I was like :( I started thinking my Coral Beauty was the culprit, since they're labeled as "with caution", but he's been in there for like 6 months with no problems. Then I saw my newest inhabitant doing the deed. How brave of him to do it right in front of my face. It's like he was proud of it, posing for pictures and everything. Anyways, just wanted to vent. What should I do? :D

My bi-color blenny was doing the same thing. I waited till he went in his favorite hole in the rock and siphoned him out with some 3/4" clear tubing I had

It's a kool fish, I'd really hate to get rid of it, but I don't know if I have any other choice. Bahhh....

Will my poor little coral recover?

If he has a taste for your sps he'll end up killing em more than likely. Id get him out ASAP.

Use the method i described above it works like a dream took me less than a minute to catch him.

Had a bi color destroy a few of my sps. Not reef safe no no. Found him with his head off inmy mantis tank

He has his eyes on my little Green Slimer now. I have no idea how I'm gonna catch him...

To be honest, that coral doesn't look to alive right now, wondering if something else is going on and the fish is just cleaning things up.

What are your current parameters -- with numbers please.

The first coral I posted was thriving the day before I put him in, the Green Slimer I don't know, i think he may have already got it before I snapped the pic. I'll post up some parameters when I get home tonight.

So I know this is an old post but... Did you ever catch him & if so what worked best? I won a bicolor blenny about a week ago at a reef club meeting. Read that they were reef safe on liveaquaria.com... Definitely NOT SO! I noticed yesterday that my red digi looked pale in a couple small spots but didn't think a whole lot of it until today when I noticed that it is obviously missing tissue. I immediately suspected my newest addition & started googling which led me here...
My little guy is so shy & very small... We barely ever see him. Although he has been coming out of the rock more the past few days, if we go anywhere even close to the tank, he darts into a tiny hole in a rock. Not a specific hole, just any hole. I don't know how in the world we could ever catch him without taking almost every rock out & tearing up my tank!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!
