Several weeks ago i purchased a bright orange tube anemone and this beautiful animal was doing great....a few nights ago i noticed it was moving all over the tank and to my surprise i noticed the sheath was separating from the tube. Now yesterday i look and theres a huge gash on the tube itself. I can literally see inside the tube. Not sure if it brushed up against a sharp rock or what. Either way im worried its going to eventually die and pollute the tank. It seems to be still quite alive but the tentacles are not filling as they were. Should i simply cut my losses and remove it from the tank or do these animals regenerate rather quickly. Any suggestions would be great....thanks all
