leaking out.
for example, if i would hold the cup in my hand, skimmate would drip down and out of the cup along the outside of the neck (where they meet). To make sure it was a leak, i cleaned the cup out, and dried it. i then filled it with a little water, and sure enough it was trickling down the neck out of the cup from the seam between the cup and the inner chamber.

here is a pic (it leaks from more than one place along that seam)

not particularly. my guess would be that it may have not been aligned correctly or cut evenly in production or sealed properly.
it is sad to know that my skimmate has been leaking back into my tank :hmm2:

that sux, well i guess you'll be getting more skimmate once you get that fixed. i was thinking that you should have been getting more skimmate considering you were skimmerless before this. i bet you're excited to get this fixed and see what it can really do.

i'm waiting for more to come in at which point Roger will send me a replacement cup.
