my tunze for youre maxijets, look inside

hey guys, ive had a few family matters arise (relatives in memphis in poor health) and ill be spending alot of time driving back and forth in the near future. unfortunatly i wont have the time to properly maintain my 75 sps. i dont want to get out but im leaning alot more towards a softie/zoa conversion for the tank. i bought a few softies today and the tunze is just a little much for them in a few areas so i wouldnt be able to use all the tank space and would have to pay more attention on placement etc. anyways my proposition is i have an excellent condition tunze 6050 (1500ish ph i believe) and the nice 6200.00 magnet holder for it. the unit works flawlessly and just has a few spots of coraline on it. id like a straight up trade for 3 maxi 1200s on a wavetimer strip. f&s has that setup for 90 new and the tunze and magnet are 180-220 new depending on where you buy it so i think its a fair proposition. dont be fooled this tunze rocks my 75 hard. ive had EXCELLENT growth spurts in the one month ive had it since i replaced the 2 seio 1100's that were in its place. post what you got. thanks everyone!<~~~steve

That's a good deal. I almost bought that deal from F and S too. Well I little late now though. I bought a MJmod that is pushing great.

On a side note: do you have any SPS you want to trade for softies? I got some Xenia, more kenyas (I think I gave you a piece of those already?)

gary, youre first in line so you have dibs. do you know about how long itll take to find a strip? im not dead set on that one strip from fosters but i figured it was common enough that someone had one laying around possibly. try to let me know as soon as you can, thanks!

robert- i will be letting a few of the more demanding pieces i have go but theyre not colinies by any means. id say big frags of about 2-3 inches and 10-12 branches or so as most were acquired about 1-3 months ago b/c the tank is so new. all of my stuff has insane color though. ill be trading for colorful zoas/softie frags/lps frags. im just trying to steer clear fom an all pink/brown/cream softie tank so im looking for the ones with color. theres a few out there.

phu, i got youre pm and we could work something out if gary doesnt find anything or isnt interested anymore so youre second in line. ill keep in touch with you and let you know. about the frags read above....ill make a seperate FS/FT thread after i get this set up. it wont be much that ill part with though but maybe something of interest to you.

I'm headed out of town, so go ahead and go with Phu on this. I'll just steal it from him later. Keep me in mind on some of your SPS (Aust delicate, etc.) if you want to trade. I've got some neon green nephthea I can definitely cut up.

I have maxi jets 500, 600, and Seio 820. To me, I'm not getting enough flow with the 820 in my 90 compare to the Vortex. I need something on the otherside that can compare to the vortex since the 820 wouldn't do it. Let me know Steve!
