Ok well not only did i want to show some pics of the acros that i got from Drmaccorals.com, but i thought i would also share some new pics of the tank. Im a bad photographer, but i tried! Tell me what you think. The tank has been setup since September of 2006.

Tank: 24g Aquapod

Lights: Current Sunpod 150w 14K HQI

No fish as of yet, but i do have a cleaner shrimp that i have had for over 3 years. He was my first addition to my first tank!

I also recently added a DIY auto topoff system that im pretty proud of! I have never really done a DIY so im happy with how it turned out. It works great and i have no problems!

Looks good, Randall. How did you attatch the corals to the rock? Looks like epoxy putty.

yea its epoxy putty....i had to use alot but it works good!

did you wrap it around the base of the corals? If so, I don't know if they are going to make it. I would get a drill bit or knife and hand twist a depression into the rock. Then fill it with superglue gel and attatch the frag that way. I don't know this for sure, but I think that if the epoxy is wrapped around the base of the frag, it "suffocates" it.

no i used the plugs that the corals came on to wrap the epoxy around. IME corals do fine with the epoxy, they end up encrusting over them anyway!

Looking good! Yah, dont use epoxy to mount sps frags. Super glue it.

I knew that corals encrust over the epoxy but I read that it was if they were placed into the epoxy and not wrapped in it. Glad they came with plugs to use, they look good.

thanks....i have the worst luck with superglue. its just i have never had a problem with sps and epoxy so idk. but yea there is no epoxy on the corals just the little caps that they came on and if the corals come on a rock i just epoxy the rock not the coral so

Did you get your rainbow from Scotts? It looks good. Man, next time ask around first. Green slimers are like everywhere in the club. I could have hooked you up with a deal. Same with the mille.

You got that rainbow to color up nicely fast! Mine is still on the brown side a bit. Great job!
