My Water Look Green

hi i just startit my 180g tank and i notice the when my ligth is on it looks like yello like this

now this is my tank and the ligths with out the water

my problem is the water looks yellow or caint of green with the ligths of to what can it be my problem

PS my tank is situated close to where the sun ligth hit in the mornig is this a posibility why my water is green because the sun ligth in the morning

What kind of lighting? Wht kind of water were yous using?

the ligths are MH 20k and the water was delivery to from the sea

yes i pay some guy who have a truk with plastic tanks he does that local he get the water and delyver for a price

Thats a big time no no. Never use sea water.

ok ccan i make my own water with the salt from the store because i have a 50g drum

yes, you can make your own water with salt. Just make sure to use purified water. Either RODI or RO water.

yes i have RO system from kent marine i allready atartit to fill up for tomoro or so i will do a big and during the weeck will do more but my tank is in the sicle proses is that bad or not

I would use instant ocean salt. Don't use the salt from like the salt shakes you buy at the grocery stores.lol

Get a refractometer. Thats a good investment to measure your salinity. Don't get a hydrometer

I also notice that you have a small mag float. I would upgrade unless that is the picture making it look small.

There are all kinds of refractometers. I made the mistake of getting a hydrometer first. Now I am looking into a refractometer so I am not sure which ones are good for a good price. Is your tank going to be a reef or a FOWLR?

Then your definately going to need a refractometer if your going to have corals whether its softe LPS or SPS
