My wish list for fish any suggestions?????

I have kept marine fish for 2 years now and have had many unexpected situations when it comes to keeping tangs. I see everywhere people having multiple tang species in their tanks with success...but for how long???

Originally I followed the "rules" or best way to house multiple tangs together by introducing all of them to the aquarium at once. However this theory didnt work for me anf I had an aqua battlefield on my hands. I have lernt from my experiences and just wanted some advice on what tangs I could keep without having to one day give them up for adoption.

My wish list is a powder blue, small school of blue chromis, 6 line wrasse, and sunburst/ Carberryi or evansi anthias. This is for my 125g so it shouldnt be overstocked. I know the powder blues are a hard species to keep in an aquarium, but is it also possible to have a yellow and kole tang together in my size tank? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

make sure you qt the pb..then you will be golden, they are easier to keep than you would think...6 lines can be brutal fish, very aggressive...I would not put an anthias in with a 6 line...125 is too small to keep more than 1 tang...
looking forward to seeing this come together..
good luck!

Yeah I would choose another wrasse besides the 6 line... they aren't worth the trouble. Maybe a fairy wrasse of some kind? Beautiful and they do lots of open swimming.

Anthias usually require multiple feedings per day so keep that in mind as well.

One thing I want to add. QT ALL fish you get before adding to the display. QTijg only the PB isn't going to accomplish much if nothing else is quarantined.

I would also agree on getting a different wrasse than a six line. From what I have read, they are brutes. Probably wouldn't have to worry about it bothering a PB, but the anthias and chromis will be easy targets. I personally like flasher wrasses, especially line spots. So very tempted to get the trio on DD!
