Hello everybody,
I'm new the forum but not the hobby, about 15 years ago I bought my first box of Florida Ricordia rock and put it in a 75 gallon under a jury rigged 175w MH.Since then I have kept everything from Leathers to LPS to SPS colonies and clams. I've been out of the hobby for a while (8 years) working overseas has made an aquarium hard, 9 m onths ago I saw the new aquapod 12 and thought it would be great for the traveling person. I took it home added 20 lbs of premium pacific rock a couple power heads and just left it alone, I'm only home every couple weeks and this tank is doing great, 20% biweekly waterchanges and a good cleaning crew have greated perfect water parameters every time I come home, I'm starting to think leaving the tank alone is the best way to take care of it. I just recently started adding some frags in the form of Zoas and I'm getting hooked, In the past I only kept Zoas as a filler and green was the only color I can remember having. The selection I have above has shown me that I was missing a great opportunity for color and variety. If anyone has any advice on the zoa's above I would appreciate it. I also have a larger colony of radioactive greens (30-40 polyps that look great as well.
