Mysis Size

Can anyone who has purchased mysis recently give me an idea of mysis size in both Hikari and San Fancisco Bay brand size? In the winter, it often gets too small; so I want to get an idea before I place a bulk order.

I've never used San Francisco Bay brand.

My two staples are Hikari and Piscine Energetics (PE). Tami, I know you're looking for seasonal differences, so I'll first say that my current supply was bought about a month ago. The Hikari are about 10mm; the PE, 20mm (measured straightened out, of course). But another factor is that the PE are much more "meatier."

I'll also mention for the benefit of anyone who doesn't know, that the Hikari are saltwater critters and the PE come from freshwater. Each offers a different nutritional profile. My erectus and ingens both hate the Hikari! LOL I just tell them, "Now you need those marine lipids, so that's the menu for today!"
