I forgot to put my frozen mysis back in the freezer last night and they got left out over night. Are they still good to use or no. I know on cyclopeeze it says not to use if they thaw out but it doesnt say anything on the mysis. But figured i would ask just to make sure. Thanks.

i usually thaw my PE mysis when i get them in packs and rinse and seperate them into little cubes and refreeze for future use. but it only takes a few minutes. but overnight is iffy, they spoil pretty quickly. i wouldn't risk it.

I'd say no. Overnight is a long time. I thaw mine out and sometime refrigerate overnight, but I don't think I'd use them if they've been at room temp.

whould you eat some shrimp that got left out over night??? prolly cause its not a good idea :p ever heard of bacteria??

I dont know thats why i was asking i wouldnt eat raw shrimp either and the fish do and love it. But yeah ill get rid of it thanks for the help.

I wouldn't personally, but my dog would. And with no ill effects either. What's your point? We are talking about what's good for a fish, not a human. They are very different.
Personally, I believe fish eat all sorts of bacteria that we wouldn't, and they don't all die from it.

As such though, for the few dollars worth of food its not worth the risk of perhaps harming your more valuable fish stock.

if fish can eat of a whales carcass for months and months and months, i dont think it would be a problem.

its the extra stuff that would pollute the tank that i'd be worried about.

We also has 2 days ago 36 hrs power failure in the city. And guess what? The empty salt buckets, filled by the freezer content and buried in the snow (this is not apartment, but house), worked just fine - the frozen cubes are still frozen.
This is not the answer for your question, I know... :D
